Christmas 2014

Hi precious girl! Well, Christmas 2014 has come and gone. We had so much fun! It was fun watching you as you are beginning to understand more about what it means. You seem so grown up most of the time. You are tall and beautiful. You are really smart too. You are still struggling with jealousy over Ella Grace but seem to be getting better. You get in trouble alot for having a smart mouth. This is really odd since you watch very little tv and do not stay with anyone that you would be talking like that. I feel sure that this will just be a stage also. You have been taught well and know what is right and what is wrong. What a blessing you are to your whole family. I enjoy staying with you so much!! Almost 4 years old

Hi sweet girl. Next week you will turn 4 years old!! How can that be possible? It seems like you were just born but yet I can't imagine a time without you. We have had 4 years of wonderful bonding. I love you more than you will ever know! You are such a smart little girl. It is going to be a struggle to keep you from being bored in school. You comprehend everything quickly and love to learn. Right now we are dealing with jealousy issues and misbehaving. This will all pass as time goes by. Your favorite toy right now is Charlotte the rocking horse. Me and Pop gave her to you for Christmas when you were two. You didn't like her then but boy has she been loved since. She is really showing her age. You can make her scoot across the floor like she was on wheels. You and her are in races almost daily. You have a love of my little pony and all things horses. I wish we could get you a pony or horse to keep here at the farm. Maybe... You are an incredible blessing! As always, Ge loves you!! 10-11-2014 Avery

Pretty dancer

Hey precious girl! Your first dance recital was yesterday. It was great. What a show the dance company put on. Of course you were the most beautiful dancer on the stage!! You did great but since you won't read this until you have had many recitals, I can tell you what you did without embarrassing you. You kept your back to the audience for almost the whole dance. You looked for all of us in the audience one time but turned back around. I think you were overwhelmed. You are only 3 and 1/2 so it was a lot to take in. Of course all your grandparents and mommy and daddy thought you were great!! It is going to be fun watching you blossom into a graceful dancer as the years go by! You make life so fun. You need to do this right now!

Hi sweet girl. It has been a while since the last post. That does not mean there is nothing fun to write. just that I have not had a chance. You are such a fun little girl. You are very dramatic and bossy. You have started saying "You need to do that right now!" or "I said I want that right now!" It gets you trouble every time but you still demand it. Sometimes it makes the adult with you laugh. There is something funny about a sassy 3 year old saying right now. We are all working on helping you learn about respect and the things that are ok and not ok to say to an adult. You are still such a blessing. I love you more and more as you get older. I love that we can now have a conversation. You are so smart that you understand most everything I say to you. I look forward to many happy days with you sweet girl! Fun times at 3 years old

Hi baby girl. I think you are going to be a great big sister. It is fun to watch you love on Ella Grace. You and she are going to be great friends. It is super fun to be with you at this stage of your life. You talk non stop and are so very dramatic!! You repeat everything you hear and love to make people laugh. You are super smart too. You learn quickly and can comprehend lots of concepts. Dancing is still one of your favorite things to do. Thomas the train is too. It is really amazing how you give everyone a train name and remember them all. There are days that you don't call me Ge at all. I am Toby. I love spending time with you. Cold, cold weather

Hi baby girl. January is drawing to a close and boy has it been cold! I don't remember a winter with this many single digit temperatures. Your Pop has been busy cutting firewood to keep the farm warm. Even though he loves the outdoor work, it has been a struggle to keep up. When it is frigid cold he can't be out for long periods of time. You continue to grow and be a blessing to all. You are doing really good with your baby sister. There have been some jealousy and neediness on your part but not much. You are an awesome big sister! You are still giving everyone a train name. You don't forget who is which train. I am going to try to name them here but may not get them all. You are Thomas but sometimes Jessie (from Toystory), Mommy is Rosie, Daddy is Cranky, Tucker is James, Ge is Toby, Pop is Terrence, Sadie is Luke, Emmitt is Spencer, Uncle Dennis is Hiro, Aunt Kate is Emily, Uncle Josh is Percy, Uncle Wayne is Diesel. I know you have told me the names for grammy, grampy, grandpa and grandma sandy but I can't remember. You call the robot vacuum Roberta. You also have named Roxy and Miss Kerri. It is such fun to watch you as you reason and try to negotiate. You are super smart. Preschool starts again soon. I know you will do great!! as always, Ge loves you!! 01-26-2014 Avery
